I started in the sunblind business in 1976, initially as an installer, and later as an estimator / surveyor for a company operating from the Bournemouth area, supplying general blinds and awnings to the domestic and commercial market.

In 1987 I formed my own company - Dorset Conservatory Blinds - specifically to cater to the fast growing conservatory blind trade. I have since built up a good reputation within the conservatory and sunblind business, with many conservatory companies now specifying or recommending me to their customers.

The service that I provide is unique because I can offer the full range of conservatory sunblind products. I am therefore able to give good, impartial advice, without bias to any particular product, depending on the size and style of your conservatory… and your budget!

I will call to your home to estimate for your blinds and survey your conservatory personally - you do not deal with a commission-driven sales rep, or faceless voices on the telephone.

Colin joined Dorset Conservatory Blinds in 1992 as chief installer. Since that time he has built up an invaluable wealth of experience and knowledge of all types of conservatory construction, and the fixings required for the best results. He works in a friendly, efficient and tidy manner - all the requirements for a perfect result!
